Mesotherapy is the practice of using microinjections of conventional or homeopathic medication and/or vitamins into the mesoderm to deliver healing or corrective treatment to a very specific area of the body.
Mesotherapy for Cellulite Cellulite is a skin condition affecting over 90% of most women and men. Those with a slim figure often complain about cellulite's external visible symptoms: lumpy, dimpled, often discolored appearance. Cellulite can commonly appear on the hips, buttocks and legs, but is not caused by being overweight, as many believe.
Cellulite may appear in the subcutaneous level of skin tissue. Fat cells are arranged in sections surrounded by connective tissue. When water is retained, fat cells can be held within the perimeters of this area, expanding and stretching the connective tissue. Eventually this contracts and hardens (sclerosis) holding the skin at a non-flexible length, while the surrounding tissue continues to expand with weight, or water gain. This results in areas of the skin being held down while other sections bulge outward, resulting in a lumpy, 'cottage-cheese' like appearance.
Mesotherapy benefits include: Improved and increased blood flow. Dissolving of excess fat deposits. Removing fibrotic, hardened connective tissue. Improved lymphatic drainage
